SAP Solution Architect
About the Role
As an SAP Solution Architect at LAT Nitrogen, you will play a key role in designing and optimizing our business processes using innovative SAP solutions. You will work closely with business units and IT teams to design, implement, and continuously improve a secure, scalable, and high-performance application landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimizing business processes with a focus on SAP processes and related applications
- Ensuring information security and proactive risk management (e.g., OSS notifications, DRP, patching)
- Defining technical requirements (system capacity, landscape, data pipelines, ETLs)
- Designing solution architectures to support/optimize new or existing business processes
- Providing expert support during critical incidents, including root cause analysis
- Quality assurance and management of external service providers in the SAP environment
- Focus on integration and simplification of processes
- Monitoring of technology and business trends and advising internal stakeholders
- Ensuring ITIL compliance and further development of LAT Nitrogen’s internal IT standards
What We expect from You
- Process analysis, optimization, and documentation using tools such as Microsoft Visio or Signavio
- Point of contact for SAP-related matters for business units, IT, and external partners
- Active participation in project teams as well as leading individual SAP projects, prioritizing tasks, and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
- Management of the entire SAP change process, including transport management and monitoring of SAP Basis activities (kernel upgrades, patches, EHPs)
- Knowledge transfer and mentoring within the internal SAP team
About you
- 15+ years of SAP experience
- Technical expertise and proven experience in the design and implementation of solutions in the SAP modules: SD, MM, LE, PP, PM, PS, PI (BTP); MII & QM are a plus
- In-depth understanding of business processes (focus on logistics)
- Knowledge of SAP architecture and system integration
- Familiarity with agile and traditional project methodologies
- Experience with S/4HANA brownfield or greenfield projects is a plus
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
- Czech is a plus
