IT Infrastructure Engineers / Senior IT Infrastructure Engineers (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of IT infrastructure (including Security measures), ensuring seamless functionality in Data Centers and in Remote Locations.
- Collaborate with various IT functions, particularly with the IT Service Desk and Desktop Team, to ensure efficient process execution.
- Contribute actively to the development of the IT knowledge base and asset documentation.
- Assess new services, systems, and processes to improve LAT Nitrogen IT capabilities.
- Implement new infrastructure solutions and coordinate with external service providers for operations and support.
- Develop, enhance, document and test Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) in specific IT Infrastructure area.
- Identify and drive the adoption of IT innovations within your field of responsibility.
- Occasionally lead and contribute to IT infrastructure related projects
- Mentor junior engineers supporting their technical and professional development.
Requirements
- . Technical Expertise (at least two of the following):
- Networking (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Firewalls)
- Server management – HW, SW (MS Windows, Linux)
- Data Backup & Recovery
- Active Directory, Entra ID, monitoring and other applications supporting IT Infrastructure
- Public Cloud (Azure) services – W365
- Databases – MS SQL Server
- Infrastructure Monitoring & Automation
- Excellent analytical, methodical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a multinational team spread across many locations.
- Relevant IT education or significant work experience
- Fluency in English
- Required experience:
- Engineer: 3-5 years of experience in the defined field of technical responsibility.
- Senior Engineer: More than 5 years in the field, with a total experience in IT of more than 8 years.
